Nancy Kanach

Nancy brings a wealth of experience in admissions, university administration, and international education. She began her career as Assistant Director of Admission and Coordinator of the Mid-Year Freshman Program at Cornell University. Following her work at Cornell, she became Regional Director of Admission at Princeton University, where she served for more than 35 years in a variety of positions, including Director of Studies at Mathey College, Associate Dean of the College, Director of the Study Abroad Program, Director of the Office of International Programs, and Senior Associate Dean of the College.

Nancy holds an A.B. in Russian Language and Literature from Smith College, an M.A. and Ph.D. in Russian Literature from Cornell University, and has taught at both Cornell and Princeton. She is on the editorial board and is the review editor of Frontiers: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Study Abroad. She sits on the Board of Directors of Princeton in Africa, has been an advisory board member of a number of study abroad organizations, and has served as an external evaluator of study abroad programs at various colleges and universities.
