The Spence School Announces New Head of Physical Education Department

February, 2019The Spence School in New York, NY, has named Mildred Piscopo as the next Head of the Physical Education Department. Mildred has worked at Poly Prep Country Day School for the past 30 years, serving as Director of Athletics  for the past 12. Previous roles at the school include Physical Education Department Chair, Physical Education Teacher, and Head Varsity Softball Coach. Prior to her time at Poly Prep, Mildred was a junior varsity field hockey and softball coach and substitute teacher at Northport High School in Northport, NY. Mildred earned a B.S. in Physical Education from Ithaca College and an M.A. in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University.
