Sean Casey to Lead Franklin Road Academy

sean-caseyFebruary 2014 — Sean Casey has been selected as the next Head of Franklin Road Academy in Nashville, TN. Mr. Casey studied psychology and elementary education at Hobart and William Smith Colleges before earning a master’s degree in education from Temple University and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. He worked at the Peddie School (NJ) for 17 years, where he taught mathematics and led the girls basketball team to national prominence. Mr. Casey also founded Peddie’s Summer Science Institute and served as the school’s Director of Marketing and Communications. He currently heads the Upper Division at Wesleyan School (GA).

Founded in 1971 under a charter with the First Christian Church, Franklin Road Academy was rechartered in 1982 as an independent, coeducational, college preparatory school with a Christian emphasis. Today, FRA enrolls 712 students PK3-12 and strives to develop “Scholars with Integrity and Balance.”
