Sandy Wang To Lead PDS Lower School

sandy wangMarch 2019 — Princeton Day School (PDS) in Princeton, New Jersey, has announced that Sandra Wang will begin serving as Head of Lower School in July 2019. In 2012, Sandy was appointed Assistant Principal of the Lower School at Trinity School in New York City, and is currently serving as the division’s interim leader. Prior to her time at Trinity, Sandy was Assistant Director of the Lower School at Trevor Day School, and she began her career as a lower school teacher and middle school math coordinator at The Dalton School. Sandy holds a B.A. from Barnard College, an M.A. from New York University, and an Ed.M. and an Ed.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Among the premier independent schools in the Mid-Atlantic, PDS educates 950 students from Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12. The institution was established in 1965 through the merger of Miss Fine’s School and Princeton Country Day School, and it currently occupies a 106-acre campus on the outskirts of Princeton.
