International School of Denver Appoints New Head of School

November 2017International School of Denver in Denver, Colorado, has tapped Bob Carignan to be its next Head of School, beginning in July, 2018. Mr. Carignan’s appointment follows his 15-year tenure at Riverstone International School in Boise, Idaho, where he began as a teacher and has served as Head of School since 2011. Prior to his time at Riverstone, he worked in financial trading.

Mr. Carignan holds an A.B. from Brown University in English and Economics and an M.Ed. from Boise State University in Curriculum and Instruction.

Tracing its rich history to 1977, International School of Denver is the oldest and most distinctive international school in the Rocky Mountain region. Serving nearly 700 students, International School of Denver offers bilingual, bicultural curricula in French, Mandarin, and Spanish to children from age 3 to grade 5, followed by the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme for students in grades 6-8.
