Indian Creek School Names New Head

Booth KyleOctober, 2018Indian Creek School in Crownsville, Maryland, has named Booth Kyle as its next Head of School. Booth currently serves as the Associate Head at Lakeside School in Seattle, Washington. At Lakeside, Booth is primarily responsible for overseeing Admission and Financial Aid, Athletics, Global Education, Lakeside’s Educational Enrichment Program, and Summer School Programs. He also chairs the Programs Group and was a part of Lakeside’s efforts to open The Downtown School: A Lakeside School, a micro-school  committed to providing a more affordable independent school option for academically talented students in downtown Seattle. Previously, Booth was Director of Financial Aid, Associate Director of Admission, and Head Crew Coach at Deerfield Academy. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Director of Admission at Brooks School. Booth earned his B.A. in U.S. History from Connecticut College, and he holds a Masters in Education, Curriculum, and Teaching from Boston University.

Indian Creek School is a co-educational, nonsectarian day school for 556 students age three through grade 12, currently situated on two campuses near Annapolis, Maryland. Founded in 1973, the school is distinguished by a passionate relationship with its community, its welcoming atmosphere, neuroscience-based approach to education, rich co-curricular program, and individualized teaching.
